LANDSCAPE & MEMORY

Event description

Learn to isolate and simplify landscapes through the use of a limited colour palette and glazing techniques. Working from a supplied photograph, we will create a small-scale landscape using a variety of materials including charcoal and acrylic. This is a relaxed and informal workshop suitable for all skills levels.

Please bring a hairdryer if you have access to one.

Workshop Facilitator:

Mark Tweedie is a West Australian figurative artist. His work is characterised by themes of memory, connection to place, and childhood. He has been a finalist in various national art prizes including the Darling Portrait Prize, the Blake Prize, the Sunshine Coast Art Prize, and exhibits with Jan Murphy Gallery, Brisbane.
